From 1st of January to 30th of June 2016, Conservation Justice has brought to the arrest of 32 wildlife traffickers, mainly on ivory, by wildlife officers and Judicial Police or Gendarmerie. All these case have been followed in justice and usually it result in jail conviction.
Moreover, several illegal logging cases have been documented and arrests have been organized thanks to collaboration with forces of order and forestry officials. In June 2016, two forestry officials have been arrested because they were involved in illegal logging and falsification of documents. They copied the signature of their chief and falsified documents with a fake stamps. They are also in jail with two illegal loggers today.
